Dr. K. Michelle Shaw graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M in 2009.
Dr. Shaw and her husband, Ryan, then moved to Boerne where she joined the team at Herbst Veterinary Hospital and Kendall County Veterinary Center (our sister practices) in Boerne where she practiced until moving to the Dominion Crossing Veterinary Hospital office in the fall of 2017.
Dr. Shaw was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, which is where she met her husband (they were high school sweethearts). She grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds (dogs, cats, horses, and goats). She participated in barrel racing, play days, and trail riding as a child.
Dr. Shaw has a special interest in internal medicine and oncology. She and her husband, Ryan, are blessed with two young children, Paisley and Weston. Their family also includes a chocolate lab, Kouper. During her time off Dr. Shaw helps her husband with his residential construction company and enjoys family time, boating, running, and Crossfit.
