Oscar - Licensed Veterinary Technician

Oscar, a native of Harlingen, TX, embarked on a journey that led him from serving in the Marine Corps, with a deployment to Afghanistan, to pursuing his passion for veterinary technology.

After completing his associates degree in biology at Texas State Technical College in 2016, Oscar sought further education in the field.

In 2018, he was accepted into the esteemed veterinary technology program at Texas A&M University Kingsville, earning his bachelor's degree in veterinary technology in May 2020. Oscar's commitment to excellence brought him to our veterinary hospital, where he has been an invaluable member of our team since completing his studies.

Beyond his professional dedication, Oscar finds joy in the companionship of his dogs, Angelina, Alfie, and Baby. During his leisure time, he enjoys socializing with friends, indulging in movies, playing games, and occasionally engaging in fitness activities. Oscar's multifaceted skills and genuine love for animals make him an integral part of our veterinary care community.
